The Short Film Collective is a new platform to showcase short films and trailers. Other sites can be cluttered leaving your short film lost in the mix. TSFC allows your work to stand out by giving filmmakers around the world a dedicated place to showcase their best work. WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT SHORT FILMS! There’s so much talent out there that goes un-noticed, and TSFC feels those unique experiences deserve to be seen. We ensure quality and guarantee your film will be among only other fantastic and well made films. Our platform is genre based so that whatever the viewer is in the mood for, they can easily find it. Don’t see a genre on our list? Let us know and we’d be happy to add it just for you. Chances are if you want it others do too.
The Short Film Collective is a paid submission based platform. Which means to help run our site filmmakers will pay to submit their films and trailers. This is no different than film festival submission standards.
We accept all forms of short films that are completed. We are committed to having a diverse and inclusive collection of films here on TSFC. All films must be under 50 minutes (a standard set by Sundance for short films). We love unique points of view, real life issues, out of the box thinking, laugh/cry out loud, and new concepts. Unfortunately at this point, we are not accepting performance based music videos (artists singing their own song). However if your film only has music, but no dialogue we’ll be happy to take a look at it. We know some music videos take the form of well thought out short films these days, so we will make space for you.
Please make sure all work belongs to you or you have written permission to submit. If your film is selected it will live on our platform unless you request that it be removed. Any pages with non-working links will be removed. We are a new platform so please allow time for us to get our bearings and we’ll reach out if you’re selected.
